Kynar is a
brand name for Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) produced by Arkema. We use PVDF for our
rotationally molded PVDF tanks. Kynar is a very pure
form of PVDF and we find it molds extremely well. For
certain applications, Kynar can handle continuous use
temperatures approaching 300 degrees F. (148 C.).
Kynar has outstanding chemical resistance properties.
Arkema has published information regarding Kynar PVDF,
its resistance to chemicals and the maximum continuous
use temperatures.

Kynar can be Welded:
Kynar Tanks can be modified and
have fittings attached though thermoplastic welding.
This eliminates the need for screwed-on fittings in
ultra-pure applications.
Single or Double Layer Tanks:
Depending on your application,
we can produce a tank made completely of Kynar or one
that has an outer shell of a less expensive resin such
as polyethylene (HDPE) and an inner liner of Kynar.

Fabricated Kynar Tanks & Tank
Customization:
If our molded Kynar PVDF tanks do not quite meet your
needs, we can also make fabricated PVDF tanks from sheet
material. We use fusion and thermoplastic welding
in our fabrication. We also customize our molded
tanks to suit your special needs. Just email or
phone our sales staff.
