| Hydrochloric Acid is a highly corrosive chemical and it emits fumes that can be fatal. The storage solution for Hydrochloric Acid must include a tank that can safely store the acid and a scrubber that can deal with the fumes. Fortunately, HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) has excellent chemical compatibility with Hydrochloric Acid solutions in 37% concentration. The safest approach is to use a double wall storage tank so you have built in containment of any leaks or spills from the primary tank. | ||||
